Streamlining Ophthalmic Database Structures Using SDTM

Eshwar Das Enugandula, Clinical Data Manager at SDC, will be presenting “Streamlining Ophthalmic Database Structures Using SDTM” at the CDISC International Interchange in North Bethesda, MD on Thursday, November 7, 2013.

Eshwar Das Enugandula has over 8 years of experience in the clinical research industry. His presentation, “Streamlining Ophthalmic Database Structures Using SDTM,” will describe the methods used to create a standard library of SDTM-based domains for data points commonly collected in ophthalmic studies, such as Slit Lamp Biomicroscopy, Visual Acuity, and Intraocular Pressure. Metrics gathered during this process will demonstrate that the use of library standards significantly reduces the cost and duration of the study start-up period, independent of the clinical database management system.
